Amy Keating Rogers trained as an actor and singer from her teenage years through graduate school. In college she discovered that she also loved writing plays. Amy segued into writing animation back in 1998. Her career began on the original run of The Powerpuff Girls where she served as Head Writer. During her tenure at Cartoon Network, Amy wrote on Dexter’s Laboratory, Samurai Jack, Johnny Bravo, and Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends. After leaving Cartoon Network, Amy wrote for many popular shows, including Nickelodeon's PAW Patrol and The Fairly Oddparents, Apple TV's Helpsters and Hasbro's My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. One of Amy’s most memorable projects was serving as an Executive Producer and Head Writer on Supa Team 4, Netflix’s first African original animated series. Amy has been honored to be nominated for 7 Emmy awards for her work in both animation and live-action television. While Amy has been writing children’s television for 27 years, her plays were always much more adult themed. In fact, in certain circles, she is known for her saucy Vagina Song. From Amy: “I am thrilled to be back on stage in The Menopause Monologues singing a daring new ditty I wrote just for this show!”
