The Menopause Monologues was born out of our confusion, fear and ultimately our rage. We had no idea what was happening to us as we entered perimenopause and were once again reminded that women's health issues are ignored in this country. Our confusion compounded due to the fact that our mothers were so filled with shame, they never told us anything about it.

Our show is the Gen-X reaction to this culture of silence.
